The host will be waiting for you at the José Celestino Mutis airport in Bahía Solano to take you by car or motorcycle taxi to the Bahía Solano dock, it will be a 15-minute transfer. At the pier you will embark to the hotel on a 20-minute boat ride, the hotel is located on Huina Beach. Accommodation at the hotel and afternoon rest on the beach where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape that accompanies the beautiful sunset in Colombian territory.
After breakfast you will begin a walk through the humid jungle to visit Deseos beach (approx. 1 hour one way and 1 hour return) contemplating the landscape with native vegetation typical of the island, you will also have time for enjoyment and the possibility of bathing in the zone. You will have lunch at the hotel and you will have an outing to make your first whale watching on a private boat and contemplate the wonder of life with cetaceans. In the evening you will have dinner and rest.
Transportation: Ground transfer by car or tuk tuk (mototaxi) on the Bahía Solano airport route - Bahía Solano pier - Bahía Solano Airport and transfers by boat to Bahía Solano pier - hotel in Huina beach - Bahía Solano pier.
• Accommodation: 3 nights in double, triple or quadruple accommodation, depending on availability and reservation in rooms with a fan, private bathroom overlooking the jungle and terrace with hammock.

- The hotel is located in the Huina beach sector, one of the most popular beaches in Bahía Solano, so you should keep in mind that although the accommodation facilities are quiet and conducive to rest, the beach can be the scene of a large influx of people. visitors especially at the end and beginning of the year. There may be noise conditions, exclusive use of the beach is not guaranteed.
How to get?
- Bahía Solano is isolated by land routes. The safest and easiest way to get there is by air, arriving at the José Celestino Mutis airport, from Medellín and Quibdó. From Medellín it is a flight of approximately 40 to 45 minutes with airlines such as Satena, EasyFly and charter companies that operate from the Olaya Herrera airport. From Quibdó the flight takes about 20 minutes and Satena and charter companies also fly. There are also some charter flights from Pereira, Cali and Cartago that occasionally fly to the destination.
Recommendations and Travel Equipment
Travel Equipment:
•Sunscreen and lipstick (ideal if natural).
•Insect repellent.
•Sunglasses, with UV filter.
•Canteen, thermos or camelback (minimum 1.5 liters).
•Personal towel to use during walks.
•Small backpack to use during walks.
•Basic elements of personal hygiene.
•Goggles or mask for snorkeling.
•Traveller documents: passport, identity card or citizenship card, military booklet and medical insurance card.
•As the climate is very humid, it is a very good option to carry your clothes, personal documents and electronic equipment in airtight bags.
•If you take specific medications, take them with you. It never hurts to carry a personal first aid kit.
Travel clothing:
•It is important to wear comfortable clothing, preferably quick-drying, light-colored synthetic clothing. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts or t-shirts.
•Closed shoes that are comfortable for walking and easy to dry. It is recommended to wear rubber boots or pantaneras, ideal for walking in humid jungle. You can also bring some extra sandals or beach shoes to change into when necessary.
•Lightweight waterproof.
•Dress or swimwear.
•Hat or cap.
•Scarf or sarong to protect you from the sun.
- The hotel is located on Huina Beach, 15 minutes by boat from Bahía Solano. It has 28 rooms distributed in 4 blocks of 8 rooms each, with views of the sea or the jungle, social areas planted with fruit trees and palm trees that provide a peaceful landscape within the hotel. There is no pool but you have access to a beautiful beach that is located in front of the hotel. There is occasional WiFi service in common areas. There is no TV in the rooms.
