15 Days Bird Photography Tour
- You will visit the ecosystems of Páramo and High Andean Forest in the Nevados National Park.
- You can observe and photograph more than 22 species of hummingbirds at the hummingbird observatory and finca Alejandria - Km. 18.
- You will get to know the Río Blanco Natural Reserve, an iconic space for bird watching in Manizales.

Día 1
ARRIVAL TO CITY OF BOGOTÁ
- Transfer from El Dorado International Airport to the hotel.
- Meeting with the leading guide of Bogotá Birding & Colombia Wildlife Tours.

NEW WORLD & HUMMINGBIRD OBSERVATORY
- High Andean Cloud Forest and Hummingbird Observatory.
- This morning we will see ourselves birdwatching in the cool cloud forest in northeast Bogotá, especially targeting the Lazuline Sabrewing, The Short-tailed Emerald, The Heliodorus Hummingbird and many other species.
- In the afternoon, we'll make a stop at one of the best hummingbird feeders in all of Colombia - the Hummingbird Observatory, where we're likely to get great views of some truly amazing birds, including the Blue-throated Starfrontlet, both black-tailed carriers and Green., Glowing Puffleg, Sword-billed Hummingbird, and Copper-bellied Puffleg.

FINCA COLIBRI
- We will move from Bogotá to Finca Colibrí in Fusagasugá.

COCK OF THE ROCK LEK
- Very early in the morning we will transfer from the hotel to the El Dorado airport to take a flight from Bogotá to Medellín.
- After, we will move through the Valle del Cauca to Jardin (small town), but first we have to make a stop at the restaurant el Rancherito to have our first time the photographic moment in the rustic feeder (Black-winged jumper, Cape Tanager black, Tanager, acorn woodpecker and emerald toucan) after lunch we continue to Jardin.

YELLOW PARROT NATURAL RESERVE - WINDOWS
- This morning will be the highest elevation in Jardin (Natural Reserve of the Yellow-eared Parrot) where we have feeders for hummingbirds: inca colibri, colihabano or chupasavia hummingbird, tourmaline hummingbird, also known as angel gorgiturmaline, velvet hummingbird and for the season (Dusky Starfrontlet) also the local ranger has feeders for Rufous Antpitta plus around the garden you can photograph the Golden Face Whitestart.

NATURAL RESERVE OF TINAMU
- We will move from Jardín this morning to the city of Manizales in the central Andes.
- From here we will travel about 5 hours to the mountains and the valley.
- Afternoon of photography in the feeders of the Hotel Tinamu (Tanager Inca, Black Throat Mango, Steely Hummingbird) and tanager feeders.

RIO BLANCO NATURAL RESERVE
- We will leave early from the tinamu hotel and enjoy the Río Blanco Natural Reserve, located above the city of Manizales.

HACIENDA EL BOSQUE AND NEVADOS DEL RUIZ NATIONAL PARK

FINCA ALEJANDRIA - Km. 18
- Finca Alejandria is much warmer in the afternoon and cooler in the morning.
- It has quite a different set of species to photograph. There will be options around the feeders for endemic multi-colored Tanager and adorable hums like the Booted Racket Tail, Blue Headed Sapphire, Purple Throated Woodstart, and Bronzy Inca.
- Also to the tanagers such as: golden-naped tanager, golden tanager, saffron-crowned tanager, rump tanager, bush tanager and green nuthatch, also the chachalaca and tucanet.

CALI TO THE CITY OF BOGOTÁ
