At the Vásquez Cobo Airport in Leticia, one of the hosts will pick you up to take you by vehicle to the Leticia dock, where you will board a public boat heading to the community of Mocagua. After dropping off your things, you will take a tour of Mocagua Island. When you return to the hostel you can enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon you will navigate the grandeur of the river in search of pink dolphins. When you return, you will have dinner and take a night walk, where you will be surrounded by the sounds of nature, nocturnal species and magical scenes that only occur at night, such as the bioluminescence of fungi in the humid soils of the Amazon.
After breakfast, they will leave for the community of San Antonio (Peru), who are part of Altamira, a social project that seeks to preserve and conserve sloth bears, and where you can do hiking activities to also spot birds and other species typical of this species. jungle ecosystem. You will have lunch in the community and in the afternoon you visit a lake to observe the emblematic Victoria Regia, icon of the Amazon. At the end of the afternoon they will take you back to Mocagua.
After having breakfast, you will embark along the Amazon River towards Puerto Nariño. There you will tour the town and visit the Natutama Museum and the Mirador. You will also navigate the Tarapoto Lakes to appreciate the flora and fauna of the place, if you are lucky you will see the pink dolphins. At the end of the afternoon you will return to Mocagua.
Depending on the time of your return, after breakfast you will do a daytime canoeing activity near the hotel facilities. Then your experience will end.

**In case you take the experience during the dry season (July to November):
Day 1: Upon your arrival in Leticia after being picked up at the airport, you will be taken by vehicle to the bridge located on the Malecón de Leticia. From there you will have to walk for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. and then board the afternoon public boat. This day you will not visit Mocagua Island.
Day 2: In the morning you will do the Hike to Mocagua Island and the other activities described in this itinerary.
Day 3 : Canoeing is not done since the water levels would not allow it, in which case it is replaced by a workshop in ceramics, weaving or basket weaving (it is only possible to choose one). For your return to Leticia, they will leave you at the dock so you can walk again to the boardwalk like the first day.

- Getting to Leticia, capital of the Colombian Amazon, is only possible by air from the city of Bogotá. The airlines that operate this route are: Avianca and Latam, the duration each way is approximately 2 hours. In Leticia there is a taxi service to get around the city and its surroundings. If your destination is Puerto Nariño, Mocagua or another town along the Amazon River, you can do it through public boats, which currently operate daily from the city's dock. If you want to know Leticia or visit Tabatinga you can do it through Taxi, Tuk - Tuk or motorcycle taxi, which is the most common transportation in the city.

- This accommodation is located in front of the Mocagua pier so it has an enviable view of the Amazon River. It has rooms with shared bathroom and private bathroom. Accommodation depends on the number of travelers, if you travel as a couple it will be double, if 3 travel it will be triple (double bed and a single bed), if more than 3 travel the rooms are distributed in cabins or private cabin for 5 people.
