Tour of the city of Medellín

- You will begin the tour in Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional Antioquia town. Here, you will enjoy an incredible view of Medellin, since the Nutibara hill is the perfect place to admire the city.
- On the way to the city center, you will stroll through the tree-lined avenues of the Laureles neighborhood, an area that offers a wide variety of restaurants and food platforms. If you wish, you can stay here for a while and try some typical Colombian dish (not included in the tour).
- Your next stop will be Plaza Botero, right in the center of Medellín, where you will discover the unique style of Fernando Botero, one of the most famous artists in Colombia. By observing the proportionally exaggerated sculptures, you will learn about Botero's sense of humor and irony.
- Afterwards, you will admire the largest collection in the world with its paintings in the Antioquia Museum and observe other pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary works of art.
- Then you will walk to the Plaza de Berrio, considered the heart of the city, built in 1680. In the center of the square you can see the Statue of Pedro Justo Berrio, who was governor of Antioquia and an important politician from Medellin and Colombia. From there, you will walk to the Junín passage, a pedestrian street with all kinds of local shops, street vendors and a lively local life. After walking through this little "rambla" for a few minutes, you will go to Plaza de Bolívar, a place that houses the impressive Medellin Cathedral, where tango singers gather to make music together.
- After hearing fascinating stories about the city, its art and its people, the tour of the city of Medellín will end in the elegant and famous neighborhood of El Poblado in Parque Lleras.
- Tourists, as well as locals, love to enjoy the village's nightlife, so make sure you don't miss out on this experience.
- In the end it will depend on you, if you want you can go back to your hotel or stay in the area and visit one of the excellent restaurants that the guide can recommend you.
